Singapore Essential oils – Herb and spice up your cooking

Essential oils are Concentrated oils got from plants used in fragrance based treatment for mind-set upgrading results and their therapeutic.   When using essential oils It is essential they are 100% pure and of grade. Essential oils are highly concentrated and very powerful, and so should be used. The recipes below give quantities that are suggested, but the best way is through trial and error.

Meat

When cooking of meat that is red, add 1 drop of essential oil and brush over the meat. Essential oils are also added to the cooking oil when browning mince meat use 1 drop per half-kilo of beef. For chicken, add Orange and lemon oils to 4 tablespoons of honey and 1 dessert spoonful of mustard. Make a paste and paste over the chicken before baking or grilling.

Fish

Add 1 drop of essential oil tablespoon of vegetable oil. Brush over grill and fish steaks.

Vegetables

Try stir-frying your veggies in an Essential oil. Ginger, cumin, nutmeg and cardamom are all good options. Steaming your veggies Containing an oil may be interesting – try lemon and nutmeg for greens. Dishes that do not need cooking some recipes do not need ‘cooking’, and essential oils are excellent for this type of thing.

Marinades

Where to buy essential oils in Singapore? Essential oils are perfect for making Marinades – only add a few drops of your chosen essential oil to honey or olive oil and brush on the meat. Place oiled red meat in a bowl containing red wine, 2 tsp of garlic, one chopped onion and one drop of orange essential oil. Season and leave for up to 8 hours.

Salad dressings

Essential oils make salad that is good dressings. Add 1 drop of your favorite essential oil to 10 ml of vegetable oil or vinegar. Basil, thyme, lavender, lemon, lime, rosemary, sage and clove are great options for salad dressings.
